How to wear Red Lipstick
Red Lipstick:
Red lipstick is a classic that has yet to go out of style. To pull of the chick look Midday gives you few key elements to pay attention to:
Be aware of the rest of your face:
To avoid looking like a clown, go light on the eyes and blush. Skip the eyeliner and apply mascara to both top and bottom lashes. Line inside of lips:
Red lipstick has tendency to bleed, so fill in lips with lip liner prior to applying. It will give a more structured crispness to your look, but use sparingly to stop it looking too retro and obvious.

If you have medium skin: go for anything from shades will work well with your golden undertones.
If you are fair: coral reds look best on you because they add a shot of color without being overpowering.
Don’t be afraid to blend colors:
Many makeup artists do this. If a color may not too great with your complexion, blend it with lighter or darker color until it fits you perfectly.
The lipstick on the teeth:
If your lipstick is thick enough to be visible on your teeth then you putting on too much. After applying lipstick fold a napkin or tissue and press it between your lips to blot any excess lipstick. It also prevents too much lipstick being in the corners of your mouth.
Tools dictate results:
Your fingertips are best for a stain (a great way to introduce dark shades). Pressing color on lightly softens the edges of your mouth, so you can get away with darker shades. A small (an eye shadow brush) will give a soften more rounded finish. Use a pointed lip brush if you are after a more polished look.
