Healthy Skin Is Not Difficult Using Certified Organic Beauty And Skin Care Solutions
Many people have skin care concerns, these days. That’s not really surprising, since there are thousands of skin care products on the market and more popping up every day. Makeup, moisturizers, lotions and soaps are just a few of the categories that they fall under. The unfortunate thing is that many of those products could actually be dangerous. That’s why using natural cosmetics is so important.
You could be thinking, as many others do, that traditional products have to be regulated by certain agencies. The problem with that assumption is that the cosmetics industry is barely regulated by the government at all. As far as the Food and Drug Administration is concerned, in fact, cosmetics are barely even on the to do list, since foods are a much higher priority.
If all of that information worries you, good. You really need to be aware of the substances that your body is exposed to, after all. That’s why certified organic materials are in much higher demand, lately. Chemical-based products are much more unhealthy than they are.
To put things in a little perspective, in Europe there’s a list of 1,200 substances that can’t be used in commercial cosmetic products. That number is staggeringly smaller in the USA, though. It consists of only about ten substances, in fact. Since there are so many hazardous materials out there, that’s a potentially life-threatening problem.
Harsh chemicals, on the other hand, are not included in organic products. When they’re properly certified as organic, they only have natural, healthy ingredients. There are many regulations for organic products, even as far as the manufacturing process goes. All sorts of tests have to be passed for them to be certified.
In fact, you should watch for products with one specific certification called BDIH. That certification proves that third party testing facilities authorize a given product as organic. Remember that there’s a difference between an organic product and one that contains a few natural components. Why is
